About us
The Mining Development, Social Responsibility and Sustainability Group of the Pacific Alliance (GTDM, by its acronym in Spanish) aims to promote cooperation in the mining sector through the exchange of information, experiences and joint activities oriented to achieve the sustainable use of mining resources, the integration of value chains and the strengthening of the sector in a framework of sustainable development and social responsibility.
The pillars of work of the GTDM are to strengthen the governance of mineral resources, social responsibility and good practices in mining, investment and trade of minerals, and encourage the development of scientific-technical capacities to boost growth.
Mandates
Exchange experiences on best practices to optimize the relationship between mining activities and communities; as well as in the management, inspection and distribution of mineral resources revenue.
